Piston Seals

Piston Seals are precision mouldings of rubber or with rubberised fabric reinforcement.

Polyacetal anti-extrusion rings or wear rings may be fitted for use at higher operating pressures permitting larger clearances or use of integral bearing rings, may be used to restrict the piston length.

These are also used on one-piece pistons which are multi-part sealing systems generally comprising elastic rubber ring and additional back-up and guiding elements.
